Exceptional KS2 SATs Results

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are immensely proud to share that our Year 6 cohort have achieved exceptionally well during their Year 6 SATs testing this academic year. Whilst everyone at Molehill recognises their resilience, hard work and enthusiasm; we also know that they demonstrate the equally valuable qualities of kindness, humour, confidence and ambition. They are not afraid of making mistakes as they know that this is the best way to learn. We couldn’t be more delighted for them.

We are so grateful to have a caring community, a team of exceptional staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure teaching and learning is of the highest quality. Nothing distracts them from wanting the very best for the children and we fully appreciate the whole academy’s efforts which have led to the best results in the school’s history.

In celebration of this significant achievement this week, Simon Beamish, CEO of Leigh Academies Trust commented:

‘Pupils at Molehill Primary Academy received their KS2 SATs results yesterday. Their achievements are exceptional and place the academy well above all national average measures. These achievements are reflected across other year groups. It is quite clear that staff at Molehill Primary Academy are providing outstanding opportunities for children which are helping to improve their life chances everyday’

Our Year 6 pupils will soon go onto secondary school with some fantastic memories, and the knowledge and skills needed to be successful. Whilst we will all miss them, we know that they are ready to contribute brilliantly to their new schools and we can confidently predict that they will go on to even greater successes in future. As our youngest pupils said of their own transition last week, ‘we are too clever to be in this class now!’

Best wishes,
Mrs Smith
